One, One Thousand
This project was funded by Telus Storyhive for the 2016 Digital Shorts Edition. Produced by Justin Brunelle and myself, "One,One Thousand" follows an 1800's photographer and his assistant on a journey to take a landscape in the Canadian Rockies. We decided to use a small crew and minimal equipment to facilitate filming in some very challenging locations. We were lucky enough to shoot at some of Alberta's most well known filming locations including the John Scott Ranch and Fortress Mountain. Other locations included Canmore, Edson, Edmonton and Whitemud creek. The FS7 was the perfect camera for this project because of its relative light weight and 4K capabilities. Shooting in Slog.3/Cine.Gammut3 also gave us the dynamic range to handle shooting with available light on many of the mountain exteriors.
